Spanish Trail Townhome Chimney range
hood and Wolf range
This kitchen, designed in the 1980's, is now completely modernized. We removed the soffit, gaining 12" of ceiling height, removed the old uppers and opened an additional alcove to the living space. The new chimney range hood, with blue-grey glass subway tile backsplash and mosaic accent, are a focal point in the kitchen. Espresso shaker style cabinets, with glass uppers and bar pulls, and Luminesce quartz countertops are used throughout the home. Adding 2 pantry cabinets efficiently utilizes the wall space and provides plenty of storage. The futuristic, matching chandelier and pendant light, 50/50 stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet, and drawer microwave complete the transformation.

Spanish Trail Townhome Appliance Wall
The new appliance wall, with drawer microwave, saves space and allows for the glass upppers that the homeowner desired.

Spanish Trail Townhome Master Bath Vanity After
The master bath was completely refigured to enlarge the shower and allow for a larger jacuzzi tub. We moved the plumbing for the vanity and shower and relocated it for the tub. By shortening the vanity, and building a pony wall between, the jacuzzi tub now fits along the same wall. Espresso shaker cabinets continue throughout the home. The wall tile and mosaic tile band match the guest bath.

Spanish Trail Townhome Master Shower After
The master bath was completely reconfigured to enlarge the shower and allow for a larger jacuzzi tub. We moved the plumbing for the vanity, shower and tub. By removing the old wall and soffit, surrounding the shower, we extended the shower, built a bench, and instantly allowed the natural light, from the skylight, to brighten the room.
Note: the frameless shower enclosure had yet to be installed in this photo.

Spanish Trail Townhome New Tub in Master
The old tub ran along the shower wall. The homeowner's dream was a 66" tub but it wouldn't fit next to the extended shower. By moving it to the vanity wall we achieved his dream of a large soaking tub. Wall mounted plumbing fixtures are space saving and modern.

Spanish Trail Townhome Guest Bath After
Every element of the guest bath has been refreshed. New espresso vanity, quartz countertop, tub, sliding tub enclosure, shower and floor tile, brushed nickel fixtures and hardware, Worldly Gray paint and espresso framed mirror continue the modern theme of the home. We added the double niche, in the shower/tub, to keep toiletries accessible yet contained.
